JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN / WORKING FOREMAN – COMMERCIAL

If you can read the prints, lay out the job, bend conduit, troubleshoot problems, lead a crew, AND still grab your tools and work alongside your team — WE WANT TO TALK TO YOU.

Tankco MEP is looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician / Working Foreman who knows commercial electrical construction inside and out.

This is a WORKING Foreman position. We need someone who can lead from the front — not just point and supervise.

You should be able to walk onto a commercial project, understand what needs to happen, organize the work, solve problems in the field, lead the crew, and MAKE IT HAPPEN.

⚡ YOU KNOW HOW TO:

• Install complete commercial electrical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• Lay out electrical work from plans
• Bend and install conduit
• Install raceway and cable tray systems
• Pull wire and make terminations
• Install panels, fixtures, disconnects, and electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, and controls
• Coordinate electrical work with other trades
• Lead and direct apprentices and electricians
• Keep your crew productive and the project moving
• Identify field problems and find solutions before they delay the job
• Follow NEC requirements and company safety standards

⚡ WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

• Has strong commercial electrical construction experience
• Holds a Journeyman Electrician license
• Has Foreman or crew leadership experience — BIG PLUS
• Can read prints and lay out work without needing every step explained
• Has strong conduit bending and installation skills
• Understands the NEC
• Can troubleshoot and solve problems in the field
• Takes pride in doing the job right the first time
• Shows up, communicates, and leads from the front
• Is willing to grab the tools and WORK alongside the crew

WE'RE NOT JUST LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN PULL WIRE.

And we're not looking for a Foreman who only wants to stand back and supervise.

We're looking for the electrician everyone depends on when something needs to get figured out — someone who can look at the prints, look at the job, make a plan, get the crew moving, grab their tools, and GET IT DONE.
