Driver Camera Operator

Shifts: 1st shift- Average will be 10-12 hour shifts 3/4 days a week. Must be flexible to various shifts on weekdays, and weekends. Will average 32-40 hours per week (Weather permitting) Start/End times will vary. 1st shift can start as early as 3am (average 5am-6am) 3rd shift can start as early as 5pm (average 7-8pm) Pay: $21.00-22.00 per hour/ paid weekly Location: Rensselaer, NY

Responsibilities:

• Deploy assigned enforcement unit vehicle to assigned deployment sites; this may require local travel or travel within the state (Sites are as close as 15-mins away and as far as 4-hours away)
• Setup sign stands/Take down and Actively Monitor Camera system inside the jeep.
• Monitor plate quality/legibility of captured incidents.(Must have the ability to multitask)
• Data entry into iPhone/Laptop (Basic knowledge of iPhone and Windows)
• Monitor weather and lighting and make camera adjustments as necessary
• Communicate with supervisor and other operators throughout entire shift
• Responsible for professional conduct and demeanor at all times while traveling to and from sites and while representing the company at any time.
• Log and report equipment-related issues
• Required to wear protective equipment while in the field which can include reflective gear, work boots, hard hats and safety glasses.

Requirements:

• Drug and background screening
• Valid Driver's License-Clear driving record is required by client
• High School Diploma or GED
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform job at a high level with little supervision
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Intermediate knowledge of operating computers and related equipment
• Photography knowledge and skills a plus
• Steel toe shoes
